Course Objectives The main aim of this course is to inform law students about the rights of women, one of the disadvantaged groups, in the field of family law and to enable students to develop ethical awareness on this issue.
Learning Outcomes The students who succeeded in this course;
  • • Will be able to identify the ways in which discrimination against women occurs in society and family law.
  • • Will be able to evaluate institutions, concepts, rules and decisions in the field of family law from the perspective of gender equality
  • • Will be able to compare legal protection mechanisms to eliminate gender-based discrimination.
  • • Will be able to analyze gender inequality in legal regulations and practices,
  • • Will be able to use legal remedies against the discrimination he/she identifies.
Course Description In this course, students are informed about the reflections of gender inequalities in the field of family law and are directed to evaluate legal practices using this information.
